Summary:	El concepto, rol e importancia de la biblioteca escolar en los últimos veinte años ha ido evolucionando bajo el influjo de las nuevas corrientes pedagógicas, al avance de la ciencia y de la tecnología, las mismas que han permitido revalorar su accionar e influencia en el campo de la educación. La evolución de la biblioteca escolar, de su concepto e imagen tradicionales, a centro de recursos, se debe a los cambios ocurridos en la educación bajo el influjo de la revolución científico-tecnológica y al auge del enfoque curricular centrado en el aprendizaje. Consideramos que todo sistema educativo que se pretenda moderno e innovador contempla y asigna un rol preponderante a la biblioteca escolar, máximo si ésta logra transformarse en un centro de recursos multimedia.  Read more...
