Trudno określic gatunek powieści, ponieważ można tu odnaleźc elementy fantastyki, romansu, humoru oraz horroru. Książka jest pisana z punktu widzenia głównej bohaterki językiem bardzo przystępnym i lekkim w odbiorze.

Poiwieśc polecam wszystkim czytelniczkom, które nie boją się marzyc o wielkiej miłości. 

okay, I think I need to give some review here since I've read all the "poor" reviews.

First of all, I love this book and I am 22 years old, so it doesn't really matter how old are you to read this book. If you decided not to love this book and  have not read the whole series yet, so you would be so unlucky because the story is not low as you thought.

Then, Meyer's writing is interesting. Repetition is needed to bold the meaning of the story. We can see that Bella's point of view is important since Edward can't read her mind. If there's third person's POV, the story will be too long. In the forth book, Meyer tried to write from two person's POV. One from Bella and another from Jacob. It was ended in 800+ pages!!

The descriptions of Edward's appearance and actions is enough since bella's pov replaces the narrator's role. If there's no description of Edward's action, we'll only see Bella's weakness. She is the main character but in the other hand, Edward is the hero and the closest villain for Bella.

For the suspense, I guess you need to forget all the "common" vampire story because Twilight is not only about vampirism. Twilight is an extraordinary romance story between vampire and human. That's the point. The nomad hunters's roles are needed to explain how danger bella and edward's relationship.

So, don't hope for horror when you read this. Hope for romance. Learn how to love and to give everything for the one you love without any doubt. Welcome to Twilight!!

If Edward is so hot then why can't I tell you what he looks like? he's way overbearing and Bella is a sap. Strangely I'm compelled to read on to the next book. If I could rate this book on a scale of 1-10, the scale would've broken. This is one of my favorite books. The romantic couple's worlds collide as only one of them is entirely human. When Bella is put in danger by "beautiful" Edward Cullen, you are not able to put the book down at that point. The end of this book left me running out to the bookstore at 3 o'clock in the morning!!! The sequel is New Moon. The sequel to New Moon is Eclipse. The sequel to Eclipse is Breaking dawn. I hope you read them all!

Twilight is a book that is engaging, funny and addictive.  I was hesitant to read the novel because of the "teen" and "vampire" labels that it had been given, but don't let that deter you.  It is a classic love story with some twists and turns.  After reading one you will probably be sucked into the rest of the series.  One last tip is don't take it all so seriously.   This isn't War and Peace or To Kill a Mockingbird, so it is best if you go in just wanting to be entertained and not enlightened.
