A cleric said, "The stranger only appears to be a man. He is a desert demon in disguise." The Angel of Antioch is a parable-like story of faith, persecution and courage. Angel is an allegorical spiritual tale that reads like scripture. Events take place in the ancient city of Antioch, two centuries before Jesus of Nazareth. A mysterious stranger appears in Antioch's Great Synagogue speaking words filled with power and wisdom. Some believe he is an angel, others a prophet, but the religious leaders reject his words, regarding him as a dangerous fool. The emperor becomes uneasy as the capital is thrown into turmoil because of the stranger's teachings. - Publisher.
